Haunted Homestead Trebein-Flynn Victorian Home

The Paranormal Tour at the Trebein-Flynn Victorian Home in Xenia, Ohio, is an immersive, room-by-room after-dark exploration hosted at the Greene County Historical Society museum complex. This 1870s Queen Anne-style "Painted Lady" townhouse was famously uprooted and moved to West Church Street after the devastating 1974 Xenia tornado. According to local lore and paranormal investigators, some of the mansion’s former nineteenth-century inhabitants "stayed with the move" and still linger in the home today.

The tour balances chilling local history with active paranormal investigating:

  • Atmosphere: The energy shifts as soon as the sun goes down, guiding guests through dark, antique-filled rooms and architectural hot spots like the home's grand structural turret tower.

  • The Hauntings: Visitors regularly encounter unexplained cold spots, moving shadows, and disembodied whispers believed to be tied to the prominent historical families who lived and died here.

  • Active Investigation: Guests hear true, eerie historical stories from our Spirit guide
