Greene County Historical Society

History isn’t just found in textbooks; it’s preserved in the fragile handwritten letters, vintage photographs, and family records housed right here at the Greene County Historical Society
But time and the elements are constant threats. Without proper care, the very documents that tell the story of our community—from the
Galloway Log Cabin to the Victorian era—can slowly deteriorate due to light, moisture, and acidic storage materials.
You can be the guardian of these stories.
We are currently on a mission to re-house our most vulnerable documents into professional-grade, acid-free storage.
By donating today, you will provide archival folders, giving our shared heritage a safe, permanent home for the next century.
You can get involved in the organization by joining one of our committees!
